INSPECTION & PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Campbell, Inc. offers several services for helping customers to inspect presses.

INSPECTION FOR PURCHASING USED PRESSES:
Campbell, Inc. can help you inspect a used press before you purchase it. We will check bearing clearances and compare them to standards in the industry, check parallelism and gib clearances as well as other important areas of the press. We can't tell you everything about a press without taking it completely apart and inspecting all components. However, a good inspection will tell you a lot about what might be hidden behind a nice coat of paint.
We can also help you locate a used press.

REPAIR INSPECTION:
Campbell, Inc. can help trouble-shoot your current problems by inspecting a machine to determine the cause of the problem and offer solutions for its repair.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:
Campbell, Inc. performs periodic inspections on presses to track their condition and check adjustments. We are able to come in as an outside service and provide reports on our findings and recommendations for any adjustments or actions that may be necessary.

PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE:
From preventative maintenance forms and data over time, we are able to set up a predictive maintenance program. This program will determine an average life span for a particular wear component and allow the customer better odds at scheduling replacement of component parts before they are too far out of tolerance or before they fail.

INSPECTION TRAINING:
Campbell, Inc. can set up a training program to teach your own personnel how to perform inspections and help set up a PM program for your plant.
